Objectives and Activities

This laboratory is used for research in following areas:

-        Cross-layer design in wireless and mobile networks

-        Performance analysis of a cross-layer handoff ordering scheme in wireless networks

-        Routing in wireless or mobile ad hoc networks

-        Game-theoretic approach for exploiting multiuser diversity in co-operative slotted aloha

-        Co-operative routing protocol in mobile wireless sensor networks

-        Channel Estimation method for STBC/ OFDM systems in high mobility wireless channels

-        Statistical techniques for detecting traffic anomalies through packer header data

-        MAC/ PHY cross layer design of MIMO ad hoc networks with layered multiuser detection

-        Distributed spectrum-efficient routing algorithms in wireless networks

-        Energy aware routing in wireless sensor networks

-        Joint iterative channel estimation and multiuser detection for MIMO-OFDM/ MC-CDMA systems

-        Wireless ad hoc networks with MIMO MMSE receivers

This laboratory is used for IPG 3rd semester classes

 

Infrastructure

Cathode ray oscilloscopes (CROs) and daughter boards are the main equipments in this laboratory.

Location of this laboratory is in room C-003.
