Dr. Narendra Kumar Dewangan

Biography

I am Dr. Narendra Kumar Dewangan, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (ABV-IIITM), Gwalior. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Raipur, an M.Tech. in Cyber Security and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering.

My research focuses on security and privacy in distributed systems, particularly blockchain-based authentication, access control, and multi-party transaction processing. My work explores applications in healthcare, electronic governance, and connected environments. My current interests include post-quantum cryptography, secure protocol verification, and privacy-enhancing technologies.

My academic experience includes postdoctoral research at Télécom Paris and teaching positions at O.P. Jindal University and UPES. I am a Senior Member of IEEE.

In teaching, I connect foundational concepts with worked examples and practical implementation. I welcome collaboration with students and researchers interested in building and evaluating secure, privacy-preserving systems.
