Venue: C-115
This lab offers experience in digital system design using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). Students learn to implement and test digital circuits on FPGAs using hardware description languages like VHDL and Verilog. The lab caters to students interested in high-speed digital design, reconfigurable computing, and rapid prototyping. The lab provides exposure to integrated circuit (IC) design using CAD tools for VLSI design and simulation. Students learn about CMOS circuit design, HDL programming, and ASIC design methodologies. It caters to advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students, focusing on IC design, EDA tools, and physical design.
Facilities Available: FPGA Boards, Acceleration Card, Synopsys, CADENCE, EDA tools, GPU enabled workstation, Software’s: CADENCE, SYNOPSIS
