Short Term course on Trustworthy Generative Foundation Models for Language, Vision, and Intelligent Systems
15 September 2026The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, ABV-IIITM, hosts a one-week short-term online course titled “Trustworthy Generative Foundation Models for Language, Vision, and Intelligent Systems” from 15th to 19th September 2026. This course addresses the mechanisms, evaluation, and enhancement of generative foundation models. The five-day program delivers a comprehensive roadmap spanning the fundamentals of large-scale pre-trained architectures to their application in complex systems. Participants explore the core dimensions of model trustworthiness, including truthfulness, safety, machine ethics, fairness, robustness, and privacy. The curriculum details failure modes and addresses strategies for safety alignment and dynamic evaluation. The organizers provide a course completion certificate along with the lecture slides and source codes.
