Intern/Research Assistant position at project titled: "AgriCide: An AI-Guided Autonomous Robot for Targeted Micro-Dose Herbicide Weed Control”

Applications are invited for eligible candidates as Research Assistant/Intern to work on the project under the supervision of Project Investigators at ABV-IIITM, Gwalior (An Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India).

The position will initially be for a period of six months and may be renewed quarterly (every three months) based on monthly performance, availability of the fund and subject to the project’s duration. The details

About the Project

The intern will be involved in the development and integration of an AI-enabled autonomous agricultural robot, including robotic platform design and fabrication, computer vision and deep learning for weed/crop detection, sensor integration (IMU, LiDAR, stereo camera and encoders), robotic arm and end-effector control, autonomous navigation, sensor fusion, system calibration, and laboratory/field testing.
