ABV-IIITM Gwalior
The ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, is an autonomous institute, which is the first IIIT established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in 1997, as an initiative to foster information technology (IT) and management education in India. IIITM Gwalior is the foremost institution providing technical and managerial education in the areas of IT and management in India. The only institution of its kind in India, IIITM is at the vanguard of imparting superior quality higher education and pertinent skills. It is located in the city of Gwalior, in the northern part of the state of Madhya Pradesh.
In 1992, the Ministry of HRD setup a high powered committee under the Chairmanship of Dr. P G Reddy. The team reviewed the overall scenario in the country with regard to software education and training and recommended, setting up of Advanced Information System Institutes on the pattern of IITs and IIMs in the country and after further proceedings IIITM was established in 1997.
With a financial outlay of 61.0 Crores (US $14 million) for the first five years, the institute serves as a premier institution in the field of IT and management. Over the years the institute has been providing highly respected Techno-Managers to the IT industry doing various techno-functional roles with élan. The institute was accorded the status of deemed university in the year 2001 by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. The institute campus is spread over 160 acres (0.65 km
2) amidst picturesque landscape in the foothills of the Gwalior Fort. The campus is self-contained and equipped with all the state of the art facilities necessary for the all-round development of the students’ personalities.
The Institute has established research collaborations with various Universities in USA, Sweden, France, and Japan and also developed very good industrial linkages with various research labs and industries. For every successful institute its real force is their students and faculty and I have no doubt in mentioning that the students of the Institute are of great quality and research oriented one and keep presenting / publishing their scientific outputs in various National/ International conferences and journals of International repute.
IIITM Gwalior recently ranked 25th by Outlook-MDRA, in a survey of Top 50 Professional Institutes in India and has got an ISO 9001:2008 certification.
TIIC, ABV-IIITM Gwalior
TIIC is the Industrial Interface of ABV-IIITM, Gwalior established in 2008 is registered as Society under MP act 1973 funded by Technological Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE) scheme was launched by Department of Information Technology (DeitY) in the year of 2008. The primary objective of TIIC is to market the intellectual ware of ABV-IIITM to industry on competitive terms and at the same time inject industrial relevance to ABV-IIITMs
teaching and R & D activities.
As part of the TIIC scheme, limited modular space will also be provided to new entrepreneurs and Technology based organizations for a limited period to be used as an R&D/Technology Unit or a workstation or a proto-type laboratory within the Campus with a view to :-
- Promote interaction with, and resourcing Technology/Expertise from the faculty members and students in the Institute; and
- Incubate novel technology and business ideas into viable commercial products or services.

Technology Innovation and Incubation Centre, ABV-IIITM, Gwalior has organized two days national conference on “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” on February 27-28, 2021. The event has provided a great platform to the researchers to interact under one umbrella for further development of efficient and secure information processing technologies. Efficient and secure data sensing, storage, and processing play pivotal roles in current information age. Total 286 participants have been participated in this online conference and 16 area experts have delivered the talk.
2.Technology Innovation and Incubation Centre (TIIC) at Atal Bihari Vajpayee-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior has successfully organized the National level Business Plan Competition “VICHAT HAAT” on April 25, 2021. This Vichaar Haat, was the flagship Business-Plan competition of ABV-IIITM Gwalior in association with the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. This competition has served as one of the finest platforms for all the budding entrepreneurs to showcase & get their ideas validated by some of the best & experienced industry experts

- Workshop on Enterprise Healthcare Systems & Solutions (Online mode)
Date and Venue - Workshop on Enterprise Healthcare System & Solution took place on 15th -19th January 2022 at the Technology Innovation and Incubation Centre ABV- IIITM Gwalior is located on Morena Link Road at a distance of about 705 kms and 9 kms from Gwalior railway station and airport respectively. Its location at the foothills of Gwalior fort is idyllic for an institute of this stature. Together with academics, it offers an ideal surrounding for extra-curricular activities. The institute is easily accessible by road, and there are cabs and auto-rickshaws to commute from railway station or airport. Shopping centres and market places are located nearby and about ten minutes driving distance away.

About the workshop - The Enterprise Health System & Solution (EHSS) comprises of Market Development, Operations, Medical Data Acquisition, Electronic Health Record Generation and Health Care Management. EHSS gives health plan customers access to key partners in the market. The EHSS Platform applications and tools offer capabilities such as managing Electronic Health Record from medical data acquisition through enrolment and provides data security and clinical decision support. The workshop will provide sessions, discussion and presentation on future research directions.

About the workshop
This FDP aims at providing strong theoretical and practical experience in the field of 5G Communication. In 5G Hybrid Antenna Design; leaders in the field describe state-of-the-art research in applying the latest methodologies in the context of tomorrow’s most important 5G applications, ranging from next-generation cellular telephony and personal communication
services,. Representatives of industries and academia have started to look into the echnological developments toward the next generation (5G), as the rollout of 4G mobile communication networks take place. mm wave communication, Software Defined Radio, HetNets, algorithms and architectures have an increasing important role to play in meeting the central challenges
faced in the design of advanced wireless communication systems.

In this context, Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the emerging applications which allow devices and objects get smarter by connecting them to the internet. IoT has wide range of application starting from industry, health to environment monitoring. This workshop will provide an opportunity to the participants to learn fundamentals of IoT, design standards and its challenges. Some of the topics which will be covered in this workshop include security issues in IoT and their countermeasures, IoT in communication, use of ML in IoT, and real-life use case of IoT. The aim of this workshop is to appraise the knowledge of faculty member, research scholar and UG/PG students with current state of the art technologies in IOT and challenges.

ARIC’22 (Atal Research and Incubation Conclave)

The TIIC has organized the ARIC-22 program with the support of MeitY, New Delhi on December 8-10, 2022, The prime objective of this Atal Research and Incubation Conclave (ARIC’22) program was to motivate budding entrepreneurs, students and school going students to showcase their Innovation, creativity, and resourcefulness and out of box thinking to contribute towards nation building through their innovative ideas. This Innovation Festival has, encouraged, and generous in Spirit, as it is more about participation rather than competition. It is a unique initiative of the TIIC-ABV-IIITM, Gwalior to recognize, respect and reward grassroots innovations/ideas and is based on the theme “Made in India or Vocal for Local”.
In this three days program 39 most prominent speaker/resource person has delivered their talks and total 239 participants have participated in this events in different categories. TIIC has announced the award for best startups and best idea presentation.

- Technological Challenges in Digital Financial Inclusion
Date: 20-21 April 2023
The growth of digital payments in India and the availability of various easy and convenient digital payment solutions have facilitated ease of living citizens, financial inclusion, and growth of business and economy. During the pandemic, the availability of contactless digital payment solutions such as BHIM-UPI facilitated social distancing and continuity of businesses, including small merchants. The benefits of using digital payments are an instant and convenient mode of payment, enhanced financial inclusion, increased transparency in the government system, improved speed and timely delivery, National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) system, Bharat Bill Payment System, Enhanced Credit Access, Safe and secure, and so on. The main intent behind this workshop is to discuss the emerging digital payment technologies and associated challenges, and interoperability among various financial technologies for the benefit of the young researchers, faculty, and interested individuals from the industry for fundamental discourse on new research opportunities. Through attending this workshop, participants will be able to understand the importance of financial inclusion and the role of digital payments in it. At
the same time, participants will gather the knowledge of digital payments working systems and how technology can be utilized to minimize the security risks in digital payments.

2. Applications of Dynamical Systems in Health and Environment
Date: 12-13 May 2023
The utilization of dynamical systems applications has showcased significant worth across a range of diverse disciplines, aiding decision-makers in grasping and forecasting the dynamic behaviors exhibited by complex systems. This plays a pivotal role in bolstering the creation and refinement of effective policy measures. Keeping this in view, the workshop on Applications of Dynamical Systems in Health and Environment is organized by the department of Engineering Sciences during June 05-06, 2023, under the sponsorship of TIIC, ABV-IIITM Gwalior. This workshop was dedicated to the young researchers working in dynamical systems and its application in health and environment. Workshop attendees represented a nationwide spectrum of educational institutions, including prominent names like Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad, National Institute of Technology Raipur, Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur, and Central University of Rajasthan, Central University of Punjab, Bhatinda, Banaras Hindu University, CSIR – National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, BITS Pilani Goa Campus, Jiwaji University Gwalior and ABV- Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior. The workshop also saw registration from two international participants, originating from Uganda and Nigeria.
The workshop encompassed a variety of topics, including:
- Exploring Deep Learning through Dynamical Systems
- The Impact of Awareness Programs on Disease Outbreaks
- Modeling Ecological Systems with Dynamical Approaches
- Achieving Optimal Control in Infectious Disease Scenarios.
3. Applications of IoT Technology in Agriculture
Date: 12-14 May 2023
This workshop aims to provide a comprehensive overview of IoT applications in agriculture, highlighting the potential benefits, challenges, and best practices. The workshop will be suitable for researchers, policymakers, and technology providers who are interested in exploring the latest trends and innovations in IoT-enabled farming.
Workshop Objectives was:
Introduce the concept of IoT and its relevance to agriculture.
Highlight the benefits of IoT in agriculture, such as precision farming, resource optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
Discuss the challenges and limitations of IoT adoption in agriculture, such as data privacy, cybersecurity, and interoperability.
Showcase real-world examples of IoT applications in agriculture, such as soil monitoring, weather forecasting, crop management, and livestock tracking.
Provide hands-on training on IoT sensors, data collection, and analytics tools for agriculture.
Foster networking and knowledge sharing among participants from different backgrounds and sectors. Tentative Workshop Topics: The workshop will cover the following topics:
Introduction to IoT in agriculture: definition, principles, and applications
Precision farming: how IoT sensors, drones, and satellites can optimize crop yield and quality by monitoring soil moisture, temperature, nutrient levels, and plant growth patterns
Livestock monitoring: how IoT devices such as smart collars, ear tags, and cameras can track animal health, behavior, and productivity, and alert for potential problems.
Data analytics: how to collect, process, and analyze large volumes of IoT-generated data using machine learning, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing tools, and transform them into actionable insights for farmers and agribusinesses
Challenges and risks of IoT adoption in agriculture: how to address privacy, security, regulatory, and ethical issues in IoT-enabled farming.
Best practices and case studies: how successful IoT implementations in agriculture have helped farmers improve efficiency, profitability, and sustainability, and what lessons can be learned from them.
