Exit Option
“The students of the 5-year IPG program (B. Tech. (IT) + M. Tech. (IT)/MBA) shall have the option of lateral exit from IPG program after 4 years with a B. Tech. (IT) degree. The desirous students shall have to exercise their choice before the end of the 6th semester provided the student has (a) minimum CGPA 6.0 up to the 5th semester and (b) no active (uncleared) backlog till the submission of the application. However, lateral exit will be permitted to the students based on the medical, family conditions and/or merit subject to the strength of the existing program should not be less than 80% of total sanctioned strength of the program.”
