Dr. Chittaranjan Swain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (ABV-IIITM), Gwalior. He holds a Doctorate from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (NITR). Before joining ABV-IIITM, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and Kalasalingam University, Tamil Nadu, India.

Dr. Swain’s research focuses on Fog Computing, Mobile Edge Computing,Serverless Edge Computing, Cloud Computing, Computer Networks, the Internet of Things (IoT), Distributed Systems, and Machine Learning. His work is published in prestigious conferences such as IEEE ICWS (Core A), IEEE ICC (Rank B), and IEEE Cloud (Core B) and journals like IEEETransactions on Consumer Electronics (TCE), IEEE Transactions on Services Computing (IEEE TSC), IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking(TGCN), IEEEInternet of Things (IoT),and Computer Networks (Elsevier).He is an active contributor to the research community, serving as a reviewer for leading journals, including IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (TMC), IEEE IoT, Journal of Supercomputing (Springer), Journal of Cluster Computing (Springer), Cloud Computing (Springer), Telecommunication Systems (Springer), and Automatica(Taylor and Francis).
